What you’ll do:

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of front end engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using React.
• Take ownership of the front-end architecture and ensure best practices are followed.
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards.
• Drive innovation in front-end development, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Strive to build insanely usable applications.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Coordinate with team members across different time zones in the US and Europe.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to promptly respond to critical issues outside of regular working hours.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Approximately 4 years of professional experience in front-end web development, with a strong focus on React.
• Proven experience in a lead or senior engineering role, with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
• In-depth knowledge of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with state management libraries, such as Redux or MobX.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical issues outside of regular working hours.
• Ability to work effectively with a distributed team across multiple time zones.
• Passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with tabular data/grid applications.
• Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of back-end technologies and API integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
